Default car idles at 750 fine few minutes later it drops to 500 and steering wheel shakes...why

If i adjust the idle to 950 or 1000 it idles better but some times it will idle at 1300 if i do this. i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? I tried to reset ecu and pull out iac and adjust screw and still same thing. Its not a big deal just a little annoying...

mine does it all the time, don't even worry about it. It's just power surges, kinda like when you turn the a/c on in a car that has it. Also, on older cars, the injectors, regulator fuel filter stuff like that , don't act right sometimes, so that can do it as well. No biggie! Race on!

a few things come to mind..

and they're trial and error.. some are cheap good mod's.. some cost money.

1 new motor mounts
2 clean IVAC
3 plugs wires, cap, and rotor.
4 have the alternator tested.
5 valve adjustment.
6 maybe a fuel filter.

i think motor mounts at 40 bucks a peice, and the valve adjustment, if you have the right tools, is pure labor.. they all add up, and can contribute a problem... i hope you get my point.
