We are developing a dry sump system for the s 2000. would appreciate input from high tech racers as to dimensions and clearance problems we may encounter.

I recently had an oiling issue at CalSpeedWay. And, in an effort to find a solution is was considering putting together a drysump system. In looking around i found your site just the other day.
As you might imagine i have lots of questions ;-)
Is your oil pan available yet?
Will it use the 3 stage pump?
What about pressure regulation? The OEM min pressure is 85psi @ 3K I know i need more than that.
etc etc etc.

As I want to try to keep this a non-commerical thread and not have it locked. While a dry sump kit is great, it'll restrict the class you will be able to race the car towards very well prepared and very expensive high hp cars. A baffled pan like the J's and mugen will work in a high banking high G's situation. I'm waiting for my fabricator to finish mod'ing a spare oil pan I have to increase the capacity and add some baffles in it. It's boiled down to him finding the time for it.

Dave, The S 2000 Dry Sump Pan is in design stages, hence the reason I am looking for input as to pump mount location, ect. The B sereis Dry Sump is available now , and can be seen on our web site. The Pumps and brives ect are all available from us now. Thanks, Gary http://www.drysump.com
