$230 for an aluminum can? Whats wrong with the stock overflow tank? Even if you wanted a better/metal can, then take a look at the circle track stuff.... probably pick something up for $50 or less.

It's to let pressure out of the system. I need guide on how to install one.
So its not an overflow tank.
Heres what he told me :
No its not like an over flow tank. The surge can does 3 major things. 1) Removes air from the system 2) helps prevent water pump cavitations 3) maintains a more even pressure in the cooling system. The radiator cap is on top of the surge can, there is a bleed line from the top of the radiator to the top of the surge can, there is a second bleed line from the highest point that coolant flow in the motor to the top of the surge can and then there is a -10 on the bottom of the surge can that goes to the suck side of the water pump. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
