Default dc jdm 4-1 / jdm 4-1 quality difference.

anyone know if the jdm 4-1 header is more durable than the jdm's? this is the second time the bottom on my dc's is dented

still haven't seen power/dyno differences.

I don't think anyone has ever listed the wall thickness of the ITR JDM header tubes.

But anytime a 2600+ pound car bottoms out on 16g (.065") wall tubing, the 2600+ pound car will win.

As for the differences in the power curves. I think we'll see slightly better top end with the DC JDM but better mid range with the ITR JDM header on Dec 15th.

true- but the headers didn't dent flat- there's a ' curve ' type of dent in them?

Damn CJ you got new DC's and dented them again?

You should try raising your car up.

I couldnt even get my floor jack under it without the help of a factory honda one to raise it up a little.

About headers.... DC 4-2-1 vs. DC 4-1, I know that the 4-2-1 give more midrange, wouldn't that be better for everyday driving? Does it take away from the upper end of the stock header? Does the 4-1 take away midrange vs. stock? Thanks.....

Are we talking about the newer DC JDM-style 4-1? It's got the 2.5 collector, and supposedly slightly bigger primaries, right?

I think they are talking about The JDM DC 4-1, not the regular dc header.

Yup, unfortunately they're dented again. I was thinking about getting the skid plate with the jdm 4-1; but if there is no difference, I think I'll just save my money and buy a real header.

thanks
