alright guys i got a question for u guys because ive been debating with my friends (no im not on the debate team) but this is the problem. im going to swap a b18a1 in to my crx pretty soon, and the thing is right now i have a 97 d16y7 in there. do i need to buy the aftermarket d to bseries mount kit? or what? i hellah dont know. some say u dont need to buy the mount kit, others say u do...so im going to let the honda-tech guru's figure this one out for me

 

Yes, regardless of the D series you have in there right now. You need to get a B series mount kit. I recommend http://www.hasport.com for this.

 

Yup, you're going to need a mount kit and a few other things as well, like different axles, and your exhaust isn't going to bolt back up. All that info can be found here, just use the search function. As for mount kits, try:

the only mount you have to change is the tranny mount, if you do this then you will have to cut a whole in your hood but its alot cheaper. but in the whole shot yes buy the mount kit

 

alright then next paycheck the mounts will be bought and hopefully soon the b18a1 will be in my lil crx
