Default Attention: Australian (NSW/ACT) owners of ITR / S2K / NSX's....!?

As per the topic - if there are any owners of ITR / S2K / NSX's, living in the states of NSW/ACT....you may find this of interest?!

Members of the HSCC, should have already been informed - so this mainly concerns those owners who don't know about the 'Honda Sports Car Club' or may want to see what we get up to each month, before joining. These drive days or weekends - are a great way to meet fellow Honda owners, swap stories/tips and overall, get the most out of owning your fabulous vehicle!

Refer to the following link, for more information on the HSCC - http://www.honda.com.au/SportsCar/

As the organiser of the coming 'Honda Sports Car Club of NSW/ACT' weekend event (24/25 Nov) - I need to inform the various restaurants and the hotel of final 'numbers'. So please don't leave this to late next week, after I've already confirmed/changed the 'final' figures?!

Brief summary of the weekend -
* Cars meet SW of Sydney, around 10am Saturday....travelling down to Canberra, via some nice roads south of Goulburn.
* Arrive at a driver training centre, where the afternoon will be spent on a 'skid pan' with an instructor from 'Bates (aka Neal/Rick) Adavanced Driving'....while utilising the BBQ facilities.
* Check-in to 'Rydges Capital Hill' hotel, pre-dinner drinks and then a 3-course dinner in our own secluded area of the hotel.
* I've mapped out an excellent 270 kms of road, to cover on Sunday morning/lunchtime. Does not sound much, but they are very challenging and scenic. Just ask any other Canberra S2KI forum members, about - The Cotter, Corin Dam, Brindebella, Apollo Road?!
* Finish with a well deserved lunch @ 'The Haig' restaurant, before the Sydney members/guests head home (back by approx 6pm).

Looks like a pretty good turn out so far....but the 'more the merrier'! If for some reason, you're a member and didn't receive the HSCC invite....PM and/or email me and I will forward it. If you're not a member, do the same and I will forward the full details.

For those attending, I look forward to meeting you all....cheers ,

We (the members of NSW/ACT at least), meet on the last Sunday of every month and about 4 months in the year are weekends away!

Sorry you can't make this one....but there's always next month? Send me an email and I'll send you the current November newsletter....which will give you all the latest news plus contact details.

It's a tough choice....as you'll be spending 5-6 hours driving from/to Sydney, for only about 2 or so hours on the 'skid pan'. That said - it'll be a lot of fun (particularly if you haven't done it before) plus you'll learn alot about the handling of your car sideways!

If you decide to come, that would be great and we'd try to give you more time on the 'skid pan' in those early hours of the afternoon....but I fully understand if you don't (maybe next time?).

See me an email and we can talk more then?!

Cheers,
