Which Honda/Acura throttle body will be a direct replacement but larger for my sohc non-vtec Civic DX D15B7? thanks for your help!

 

I just browsed the helpful faqs area, look for sohc upgrades link. I was on the bottom of eather the first or second page. Then scroll down after intake, it talks about throttle bodys, I can't remeber exactly what they said or I would just told you.

 

that or one of the sponsors here offers a big bore throttle body service, might want to search that one... he does some killer work'

 

good advise. thanks. do you know if a D16Z6 92-95 Civic Ex Sohc throttle body is larger than the D15B7 92-95 Civic Dx/Lx Sohc one? How about the D16Y8 96-00 Civic Ex Sohc one? will the sensors work and will it be a direct bolt-in procedure?

 

You can really use just about any TB but you have to have your IM port matched in order for it to do anything.

 

i want to use a D16Y8 intake manifold. so the D16Y8 throttle body would match. but would my fast idle work. would everything be plug and play?
