Default Madison Wisconsin Meet pics

Here are my pics from the 6/26 Madison, WI meet. When I was there, I counted about 55 cars.

Some of the more "non-traditional" apperances:

Direct from Japan (literally)

Hyundai Accent with turbo B16

4G63T-powered Colt

Turbocharged non-turbo Eclipse

The rest of the pics (48 pics):

I've talked with the owner of that car at the Wild Expo meet last 2 weeks ago. he seemed fairly cool.. however he was telling me some BS about how he doesn't need any fuel mangement for his greddy 18G kit cause he uses only and inline fuel pump. I'm still like WTF???

Maybe he meant he ditched the blue box to run a FMU/missing link/fuel pump setup. Either way, the thing's a turbocharged B-series, and it runs. And it's a Hyundai!

Great turn out - about 50-60 cars.

Hmmm red x? They seem fine now. Just click on the link to the album to see all of the pics (they are all in the album).

I don't even think that many people noticed that the Accent had a turbo'd b16 in it. They had their honda blinders on walked right passed it. I didn't bring my car and drove in my wife's car. The turbo'd KA powered 240 fastback was nice and simple.
Also there was a red EH hatch with a H22. Does anyone know what kind of brakes he had on there? Wasn't that bad of a meet except for the couple of morons who would peel *** down the road leaving and that jerkoff doing donuts in the antique supra . So whens the next meet?

One cool thing about the B series in the Accent is how straight the axles are. Since he scratch-built all the mounts, he was able to get the alignment PERFECT. Incidentally, the axles are way straighter than on a B series in an Integra.

It was a pretty fun event. I was there in my buddy's white 92 Vx hatch w/d16z6 apexi turbo. Man, seems to be no love for d-series out there in Madison. Actually, I'm still here in Madison as I type, leaving back to Minnesota in a few hours. Just watching the Nascar roadcourse on TV. I got some pictures I'll post when I get back home. I was drooling all over that trailored EF9. That H22 hatch sounded throaty as hell, go 2.2's! Otherwise, all the cars there were pretty cool, glad to see some non-honda's as well. Anyone see that asian chick with the little *** Taco Bell dog, damnnnnn, huge brains...lol...
