Default NSX antennas

Does anyone know of an replacement/improvement over the stock antenna?

There are two stock antennas - the power mast on the rear fender, and the veins on the top third of the rear window. The stereo is a diversity system that will choose the stronger system. The stock antennas are

and do the USDM NSX's have the 1/2 up feature on the antenna mast?

Mine had a 1/2 down feature, but it was not by design . Seriously, I think this feature is exclusive to the NSX-R. Anyone know for sure?

No, the reason I asked is because it was on this 1991 model and I didn't remember if I saw it on a US one before or not.

I've never read about a 1/2 down design in any "R" literature. Ken, you know anything about that?

I never knew about it either until I saw it in a video review of the NSX-R. I think it was Top Gear.

No, but I'm not very familiar with the R other than the article that was in Top Gear and the one in Evo.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, however, we offer a product that lowers the very "tall" factory mast during CD operation...

Thanks for the info.
I didn't have any change on me when I was entering a parking lot with one of those wooden arms that lift up to let you in and out,so i reached foward lifted it up let it down once it cleared my rear window but forgot about the antenna. the couple of bucks I saved will cover the new antenna right?NOT!
