MY BEST RUN OF THE NIGHT( 95 Civic Coupe, 94 b18b motor, crappy "performance" filter only, RS*R gt2 cat back, Test pipe, stock steelies with stock tires, and full interior and about 40 lbs extra crap in the trunk)

the rest of my runs were in the low 16s.. i know i can improve, i think i can get a bit lower on my 60 ft.. but i also need some new rims and tires.

did u just dump the clutch?? work on your start, or whatever u call that. feather the clutch. go somewhere where there's no cars around and just practice there. i know u can do better than that cause your trap speed says so.

Was this last night? Red coupe? At GLD? If so I think I saw ya there.
What you need to improve is your launches.
With a 2.2 60ft you will run a low 15.

Yea, the Si was my friends.
His best was a 15.5....
I guess his clutch isn't the happiest.

Sounds like my car, except the 40lbs in the trunk...

what are you guys talking about, that's about right. quick making up reason why your car is slow. it's slow cause it got no power, with a small *** 4cylinder engine that's why. look at your 60foot. you got it in 2.410 come to think about it on street tries and setup. that's about what most cars, fwd would run. look at your et. it's 89mph, most car with a 2.410 hit 15.8 at 89. just like a si coupe. haha.. sawp and your still slow. yea you could put on some drag tires, double clutch, new tranny and try to put more weight in the front of you car to get some more traction. but your still gonna trap 89. maybe cause you take off is just to shitly.
What a way to knock down a guy!
This guy is merely posting up his time and wanting some suggestions on possible improvement. Stop being a dick! I'm curious to know why you are even on HT considering most of the honda's are 4 cylinders.
Anyways, you can drop you ET a bit by getting some MT skinnies and improving your 0-60 times. It also has to do with your driving skills and all that crap in your car. Try to take some of that stuff out and keep on practicing. I'm sure you'll get better, but just keep in mind you might need a clutch soon.
A reaction time faster than .500 is a redlight... but also depends on the tree and setup but in general it is a redlight.

anyone else look at Vtecb0i's other posts?
knocking on 4cylinders when hes got a Dseries turbo that overheats before he can get to the track and run it. and his spelling and grammar sucks bad as well. whatever... to each his own. i just like people that flame when they are no better than the person they are flaming on.
