All JDM B16 experienced people
Got a JDM B16 from JSPEC.com Started with an auto D15. All my wirirng is done, no ecu codes. Still having small problems. First of all, it doesn't always wanna start. Sometimes it'll just crank and crank. No codes. Second, need to know what throttle cable and bracket to use. Got a 91 integra cable, adjusted it for Idle, but cable is to long. TPS only reaches about 3.7 Volts, and throttle plate not opening all the way. What American engine is this comparable to. Like if I wanted to order adjustable cam gears, new thermostat, timing belt, etc... Also, what down pipe is being used. Factory CRX pipe doesn't bolt up (which I figured). Got a 95 civic ex down pipe which bolts up perfect, but it hangs 2 inches lower than the cross member. Always scraping. Feel free to call me, 484-824-4560. Sean
my downpipe is way lower than my crossmember also, i think its just the way the motor mounts in with aftermarket mounts, they set the motor a little lower to clear the hood possibly. anyway i scrape constantly, dont make the mistake of lowering the car more than one inch or you'll be screwed. the usdm b16 is comprable, i also used a lot of ls(b18) parts.
The throttle cable you bought is going to be long, my stock D-series throttle cable is long as well, so thats a no win situation.
They didn't give you a complete exhaust manifold with your swap?
Take off your throttle body and look inside it to see if something is blocking it or ect... If you are only getting a 3.7 reading at WOT then it might be blocked or its probably bad. You can get a tps off a ls motor or d-series motor just not off a dual point motor.
Did you check the usually stuff like battery,spark,etc.......

i'll put it this way.....you're gonna scrape or else look like truck. My car is lowered and yes it scrapes now and then, but that's the price to pay for being dumped. One of my collector pipes on my header is almost all the way smashed, my tow hooks are bent a little, and the car still runs perfect.
