Ok guys the EF fan plug wire is black with yellow stripe and the other wire is blue with silver spots

which is positive and which is negative?

I'm trying to hook it up to my 96gsr thermo switch plug which is on top of the thermostat. And that plug has 2 wires .... black & the other is green


I asume that the correct way to wire it up is:
ef fan plug---------------------------------gsr thermo sensor
black/yellow ------------------------------------black
blue/silver ---------------------------------------green
