warranty after motor swap
So will my warranty be completely voided on my car if i get an A2 swap for my si? and got the new tranny would i have to get the rsx-s ecu or could i just keep my stock one of my si right now and just get the hondata reflash for the type-s cause thats what i was gonna do for my si was get the hondata anyways. peace
Yes you would need the K20A2 ecu to use all the options on the motor. You can get k-pro instead haha.
It depends on the dealership...sometimes they're gay and completely void your warranty for changing anything from the original car. Engine counts as something like this; pretty much anything expensive or drastic.

Sema ....
they can't void your warranty unless they prove that the modification caused the defect
for example
you installed a intake
and your passenger window falls off the track...
the 2 have NOTHING to do with each other
and if they said... buddy you put a intake on your car and this voids the warranty yadda yadda its bs
dealers try to weasel out of warranty work due to the fact they only get a % on the work since its covered by the company
as opposed to Jack Off who walks in off the street and they gang rape him for 80/pr hr labor rate + marked up parts etc etc
