Default DC5 want springs to lower and improve, opinions?

I wanna get springs, thats all i can afford at the moment but this car needs to be lowered, that fender gap is driving me crazy. Im lookin to spend between $150 - 200. I want no more then a 1.5 drop. Im open to like a 1.0F 1.5R or both 1.5. I dont want to go lower then that because i cannot afford shocks at the moment and i dont want other parts to get stressed too much from the drop, like the camber or bump stops, etc. Im thinkin either like Goldlines, Eibach pro kit springs, progress, and teins. I want a close to stock ride (meaning comfortable) but a little less bouncy which everyone knows the stock ride is a little bit bouncy. Can anyone recommend a brand of springs? Does anyone have the ones i just mentioned? If so what is your take on them both the good and the bad? I know its a lot of info but i figured i would be as specific as possible to get responses that can actually help me in this decision. This car is gonna be my daily driver for the next 3 or 4 years easily so i wanna make right decisions regarding any mods. Thanks in advance.

Check out the Club RSX springs which are made by Goldline. $200,1.75" drop front and rear.

ya i already checked those out. They seem like good quality and price, but since im not gettin shocks at the moment i dont wanna go 1.75. I know it looks better but im just keeping in mind other parts, and my camber.

you want to replace your shocks when you replace your springs...

or else, you will get the annoying bouncy ride.

you can try tein's stech and htech. stech is 1.7f and 1.4r, htech is 1.1f and .8r. You should be able to get them around $170-200.

If you have a Type-S you shouldnt worry too much about the shocks because they are a little more beefed up than non-type-s shocks.

I've been doing some research and the Tein S-tech look great, I have them on my EP and will probably get them for my Type-S. Or you might want to look into Eibach sportlines.

Showstoppers in Glendale carry these springs, $165 for the S-tech's and $185 for the Sportlines, good luck.

I have a base, so the less beefy shocks. ya tein stech is actually at the top of my list, i like the fact that its 1.7F and 1.4R, that seems perfect to me. How did the shocks on your ep handle it? or did you replace those too. Glendale aint too far, just make a trip up the 5 so thanks for that. Since you mentioned it, if someone in the SoCal area has some type s shocks they wanna get rid of cheap, that might be option for me.

My EP handled quite nicely. The suspension firmed up a bit and it rides real nice. My dad likes the EP's handling better than my stock S. I've put 15k miles on them and no problems. I say go for it!

I'm picking my S-tech's up on Friday from Showstoppers. If you have more money you should pick up the progress rear sway w/ tie bar combo for $145 picked up. Let me know how it works out
