2003 LX Coupe tire/rim swaps
sorry if this has been covered already- i'm a newbie - i want to change out the stock steel 15's on my 2003 4-dr coupe. i know the oem accord 16's will fit , but how about something like the rsx 16's- the offset is 45mm instead of the 55mm for the accord. would that be a problem? how about the 17's from a tsx? any handling handling issues/advantages from that? tia - i know there is a lot of knowledge here and i appreciate it!!
First things first... your car is either a 4-dr. or a coupe. not both... second, tsx's are 5 lug i beleive, which means if your car is 4 it wont work (have no idea what the newer accords have) . im not sure about the rsx rims. as fas as handling is concerned, a wider rim on your car would allow it to handle a lil better. but remember that with wider rims, depending on the tires, the tires tend to follow the patterns in the road. oh and... welcome to honda-tech.

oh- right- 4dr sedan - 5 lug- 114mmx5- i know the acura (rsx) rims are 16x7 with 45mm offset, (tsx) rims are 17x7 with the 45mm offset, accord rims are 15x6 with 55 mm offset. will either the 16's or 17's fit without problems?
