On my 01 R the clips on the injectors are the kind that can be removed by pressing the releases on either side. I'm wanting to go with RC 440's & if I'm not mistaken they have the old style clips that use a square metal spring clip. I was told on the 01 R's they changed to the new style from the 2K models. If this is true am I going to have to wire in the proper plugs in or is there some type of adaptors that work with the quick release style? Thanks.

 

You will have to wire in the odb1 style clip you should be able to order some with the injectors or just cut them off of something eles I got mine of a 1g DSM

 

If you need OBD-1 clips, I've got a set from an OBD-1 Prelude harness you can have. They're also compatible with RC injectors without modifying them.

 

Speaking of DSM's, I was just going to use a set of DSM 450's but doesn't the intake mani have to be modified @ the so the base of the injector can be fitted properly? That's just what I heard. I dunno...

It'll be the same with DSM450's and RC injectors in terms of fitment.

It's the intake manifold grommet that needs to be bored out. I use a small cartridge roll on a dremel to modify them.

You can also use teh tapered intake manifold injector grommets, but I don't have any idea where to get them. I got a set from Pete (EVIL CETANE) a while ago and I'm not sure where he got them from.

 

Thanks for the info man. I got accsess to get some DSM's for about 50 bucks till I can get My RC's.
