Quaife and factory Honda b series cable trannies!
I have been doing a fair bit of research on both the older series cable b series transmisions. The only two that were even offered from Honda was the true JDM versions of the Y1 (from 90-91 Civic's and CRX's) and the YS1 (92-93 vtec Integra's), and even those trannies it was only offered as an option.
I have come to discover that it was Honda that had contracted Quaife to make the lsd for all the optioned Y1 trannies for the 90-91 years. These are great differentials for but durability and performance.
I am just wondering if anyone knows for sure weather the newer JDM lsd equipped YS1 trannies came with the same type of LSD or not. It seems to be very hard to find any real info regarding specific information to this gearbox, other than the actual gear ratio's.

I don't think I can exactly answer your question, but I do know that you can put the quaiffe B16 into the JDM S1 tranny. That is what I did, and I am very happy with the performance of their product.
