Default B16 Swap

Can you use a 92-95 civic ex vtec wiring harness on a JDM B16A2 with a P30 in a 95 civic dx or do i need something else.

There is no such thing as a JDM B16a2. JDM motors do not have #'s after the letters. so if its a 2nd gen it would be the B16a SIR II. and yes the harness and ecu will work but u have to wire up a knock sensor other wise u will have a CEL

Thanks for the info, JDM SIRII gottcha. Where can i get the knock sensor and wires or and i better off getting a Hasport sub harness for my DX harness?

your motor came with a knock sensor already on the block. save your money and run the 3 wires (vtec soleniod, vtec pressure switch sensor and knock sensor), but if you wanted spend money the get the sub harness.
