6th gen auto tranny problem
When my automatic transmisstion gets to the point its supposed to shift to the next gear, it hangs there for 3 seconds, the car makes no power, the engine strains, then it throws it into the next gear and all of a sudden i get shot forward. Sometimes power is entirely lost while turning, as if turning stops the power transfer from engine to transmission. It just started today and freaked the **** out of me.
I did a few neutral drops when i first had the car but i've stopped and have had no problems for the last 10k.
My main concern is that i'm going turbo. I don't want a tranny to fail from prior problems under boost because then my warranty is voided and i'm screwed.
Anyone know what the problem is so I can be sure my tranny is running at top performance so it will be able to handle boost (as well as an auto Honda could)?

UPDATE:
After taking it to the dealership, they decided my transmission was bad. The fluid was replaced at 25,000 miles, and since then i've driven 6,000 miles on it, so that didnt check out. After they ran some tests, they decided it was a factory defect and was in no way connected with my driving. Under warranty, i'm getting it replaced for free!
I know that a manual would be better, but i mean, a free, brand new tranny, good deal!
