installed shift light with rpm switch now no tach why not??? help please
i installed a shift light that i had in my civic its a 93 ex i used an rpm activated switch to activate the light, i followed the directions, however i hooked the rpm wire to the back of the gauge cluster tot he tach and the tach stopped working, then when i disconnected the wire the tach worked again. do you know why? does anyone have any experience with the rpm activated switch taht could tell me exactly where i can take the rpm side off of?? any help is appreciated thanks in advanced
i dont think thats it, i think it has something to do with the negative switch on the rpm thing. cause ive ran several shift light from the same place.
