On my way home from work the brake lamp light comes on, but all my bulbs are in working order, I checked, today after I shampooed my car today, on the inside, the SRS light came on! ANY IDEAS!!! PLEASE HELP! How long should I wait before I see a dealer??? Can I check connections myself any where?

i had the same problem on my 92
mine was low on fluid
topped it up and was all good
but going to get my brakes checked next week to see what caused the low fluid

Sowwee me car has no SRS.

But understood from some friends of mine there's some electronics under the carpet of driver's side, some naughty H2O got in there?

Just a thought and a guess.

 

is it your dash light that says BRAKE by the check engine light or the the light that says BRAKE LAMP by the door ajar indicators that is on? if its a fluid level problem the BRAKE light will be on, that light turns on if your parking brake is on on the fluid level is low or if the cap is off. My BRAKE LAMP light is on but all my bulbs work and it only comes on now and then so i think there might be a short somewhere

 

Its the "Brake Lamp" LED that comes on every now and then, stays on for a while, then goes away, comes back when it pleases. Im not worried about that, its just the SRS LED that wont go away, I think I will wait a few days to see if any H2O did get into nething, if it's still there, I'll take it to a dealer.
