I was trying that for the past year, and still no V-Tech. All I could get was a lousy 2.4GHz at 9K rpm.

i'm sorry everone on here just can help you out, here's how to hook up your v-tech
1. take the cord from the wall jack and plug it into the base
2. take the plug on the base and push it into a outlet
3. most importanly make sure to let it charge for about 24hrs. before using
let me know how that works out, i also know what to do for the answeering machine if you have that feature.
hahahahahahahahahahaha!
