Default Pager Alarm Alarm Signal Strength

Is there a way or an alternate antenna that can boost signal strenth on a pager alarm, I have the Valet Pager. It dont reach more than about a block and a half away if there is nothing in the way. I've seen some "tape" looking antennas that go on the windshield. would something like that work or do I have to use the one that came with the alarm. Were can I get something like that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What alarm are you using? From what I was told from LOTS of installers. THose antenna don't do JACK@! Its more for show. Waste of money.

From what the distance is, it will always be that. Since the Transmitter signal will always stay the same.

Exactly, the factor that makes the distance small is the size of the transmitter in the pager, not the antenna that picks it up. You can't really increase it without modifying the pager which would make it annoying to carry.
