possible hell of a deal on a CRX, need opinions
Well, i found a 89 CRX Si for sale in my local classifieds, its only got like 80,000 miles on it. I havent gone to look at it yet, but hes only asking $1900 for it.
Does this sound like a good deal starting to shape up depending on other factors, (rust)?
thanks

Odometer rollback?
Look for frame rust or shitty body work, ask to drive the car around the block
Listen for odd **** such as blown rings and take a look at the exhaust colour

its the faster crx. Came with rear wiper and sunroof/moonroof(one or other dont know what difference between two is). Its heaviest but the fastest. D16a6s are strong motors. Plus the trannys have the shortest gears. So its got some quickness and its still good on gas as long as the tuneups have been done good to it.

check the steering wheel. try to twist it like on a motorcycle? also look at the pedals to see how worn down they are. they shouldnt be smooth. they should still have the rubber grip on em.
