the altezza fever hit your area , what steps did u take to paint your valve cover it looks really bad

the valve cover was trashed, it needed to be sanded. it was in very bad condition. it looks a lot better than it did. Altezzas came on the car, so i didnt have the stock ones, found stock 4-door taillights for $6.50 plus $20 shipping. I thought the valve cover came out good , there about 10 coats of paint with an initial sand and strip, then 2 wet sand sessions between coats...

*** Ho... I mean Kumho tires arent really something to be soooo proud about that you paint them to make them stand out... Sorry... Valve cover looks alright but thats about all.

looks like the paint came out kinda bad actually... (maybe its a bad pic) 10 coats? your nuts... you shoulda used 3-4 max. i hope you used 1200 degree paint too. ive used 500 red in the past it will lose all gloss and fade within months.

They came on mine as well. I dont think they look too bad, white on white, but hard to keep clean. Working on de-receifying it. Like I said ,Taillights are goin.
