reason being is i threw out my old lip after i replaced the front end from an accident and didn't buy a new one cause i wanted something a lil bigger (the type r one) i can get an aftermarket type r (oem) for 60 bucks i think, to get one made for a civic im looking at 130

The bumpers of the two cars are completely different shapes, not to mention the fact that there are even two different ITR lips depending upon the year ('97 vs. '98+). Do yourself a favor and buy a lip that was specifically designed for your car. You'll be much happier with the result.

I understand that you want to save money, but again, the ITR piece won't fit correctly on your car. You really need to purchase one that is correctly designed for your application. Also understand that with body pieces, to a certain extent you get what you pay for, and the poor fitment found with many cheap pieces is generally not worth the money saved on them. A well-made piece will save you a lot of headaches with the installation and fit, and you'll likely be much happier with the end result.

sell the OEM for a civic lip...youll probably get more money than you need for a knockoff

Nope, not even close in size/shape. But, if you really want to hack it up and "cut & paste" the lip, then sure you can make it fit but amount & time you put into doing that, it would've been cheaper/easier to just buy an aftermarket front "Type R" lip.
