Ok so maybe someone will know what has happened.
I purchased a set of Tein SS coilovers for my 99 Civic Si. I proceeded to install them myself, being that I was quite capable and knowledgeable to do so because I have before. I installed correctly and set them all to the same thread in the front and rear of the car.
After a while when I hit level ground I noticed that the car was sitting higher on one side, so I proceeded to take apart the rear end and switched the coilovers from side to side thinking it was the coilover itself, but no luck. It still sat higher on the one side.
After asking around, I took it to get a 4 wheel alignment, and telling the mechanic the problem and he noticed it before I even told him. So I wait and he tells me he fixed it and it was all level. So after taking it to level ground again, I noticed it was still off!!!!!!!
I adjusted them all so the car sits the same on all sides (Close but it's still off a little bit) but the collars are way the **** off, and I can tell that the shock travel on each shock is different, which makes for a strange and bumpy ride and it pisses me off alot. I have no idea what to do at this point since I already took it to a professional and that didn't help at all.
Cliffs:
Got a set of Tein SS coilovers and installed them.
Ride height was off on all sides
Took it to a good alignment shop and it still wasn't fixed
now car is even all around but have different shock travel on all 4 wheels and it's bumpy and uneven as all hell when I hit bumps and drive.
I'M PISSED OFF
I tried everything, so don't ask stupid questions, this is serious and I need someone who can actually help me out. thank you.
