On my commute from work there is a large hill a drive over. It's about a mile and a half long with a 7% grade on both sides. So going down the hill requires very little use of my gas pedal. Just coasting down, the car stays at about 80mph.

So When I got to the bottom of the hill my momentum started to drop off, so I gave the car a little gas. As soon as I did, it started to sputter for like 2 seconds, almost like it was going to stall. Then everything seemed to be fine.

Has anyone gone through this?

 

fuel filter???? dirty injectors??

 

Yes check your fuel filter...thats my guess

 

plugs can cause a symptom similar to that too.

 

Thanks for the input. The plugs should be okay. I had a full tune up done at 30k miles and the car is at 45k now. The fuel filter is next on my list...
