2000.00 dollar budget..what to do?

Default 2000.00 dollar budget..what to do?

i have a 94 ls teg that ive been thinking about doing a lsvtec on,after the initial 500-700.00 to get the head on what combo of parts could i get that would be good for a daily driven car, that would make good usable hp?and i dont mean i/h/e..i know that.....i mean what cams valve train engine managment ect ect would be good for a car that had to be driven to work everyday?and remember im on a budget!

get with the SCCA rule book and see what your options are first. then make comparisons on what you can use....
for 2K and SCCA I would start with suspension and brakes and tires. its not about power....I have watched an 89 SI hatch, out run a vette on autocross and at VIR.

SO you want street. Get suspension, exhaust, intake, and cam.

If you wouldve checked out homemadeturbo.com about 3 weeks ago you couldve bought abaz's twin turbo set-up.

-your sig says you bought your teg for 300, he was sellin his homemade twin turbo for 900, you couldve had one bad *** car.

If you're just concerned about going fast, you could probably piece together a decent turbo kit with some tuning for less than $2000. Jeff/AbaZ's setups that Junkyard Racer is talking about never break the bank. There's another homemadeturbo guy that is making 210 whp on his boosted SOHC motor, and it cost him only $1100
