O.k. my car has been blowing smoke out of the valve cover nipple for a while now. The other day I had the engine on and I pulled the dip stick when I pulled the dip stick oil started squirting out of the hole where the dip stick goes. What could this be? One more thing no smoke comes out of the exhaust.

 

Um you aren't supposed to pull the dipstick when your car is running because oil WILL come squirting out. And is it smoke coming out of you valve cover breather or is it just some fumes, because it is doing its job correctly?

 

It's smoke not fumes.
