I bought a used 92 civic about a week ago. and knew that the motor needed work and that the headlight fuse was blown. well i get it home and pull the fuses. the previous owner had replaced the fuses with 20A in stead of 10A. i am getting power to the fuses but the headlights still wont work...

 

There's a good possiblility that the bulbs are bad. Pull them and make sure that the elements are good.

 

how about the headlamp switch, i bought a used 95 civic and the headlamps were wired to a togle because the guy said that they wouldnt work. i replaced the headlamp switch and all was good.

yeah i am helping campana13 out and i am leaning towards the switch idea for the fact that the brake lights and signal lights work but the headlights and parking lights do not. if the switch is bad just pick one up from the honda dealership?

 

Hit up the junkyard. You can get a good one for $30-40 bucks.
