how are the UR crank pulley??
i just bought UR crank pulley for $75, and just wondering if i should put it on my motor? i heard good and bad things about light pulley! what yall think? later...
Did you know that you can send your stock pully to inlinefour.com and you can have them machine off the a/c and p/s parts so its exactly like the UR race pully? Except that it weighs a little more, but still lighter than stock, and would imagine it is safer, as it retains that rubber o-ring. They also balance it.
Thats what I have, its going on my car as soon as I get my block from the shop. But since you already have it, its your call, I just heard too many things bad about it (but also alot of good things), so I decided to go with something with no controversy. I dont want to add any unnessecary risk to my new block when it gets here.

owen_the_soyboy kicks *** for pulley machieneing!
but i've YET to see PROOF of an underdrive crank pulley causing damage. everyone can talk about 2nd and 3rd order vibration ALL they want...until i SEE PROOF, it's worthless to me.
run it, and enjoy it

or you can do what I did for h-t member chad
take the unorthodox pulley and machine it down to nothing but the alt pulley and balance it
voila! the lightest crank pulley on the market

they dont make near the amount of power people think, i dont think its worth the POSSIBLE bottom end damage from harmonic vibration, i have seen engine come apart from using these, breaking oil pump gears is a big problem with them too there was a good thread on here about them, search for it

Ive seen the oil pump exploded from the use of one of those, so we switched to a ballanced and machined ITR pulley from ENDYN
