Ok i was just wondering about tire pressure at the track. Im running 14x6 miata wheels with 195/55/14 azenis

Tire pressure that i would like is
front 17-19 psi
rear 40 psi

are these settings off? would you suggest a different setting?

 

i put mine 18 psi. u need to check it after u running...

 

depending on how many runs you plan on doing start higher and gradually drop the pressure down, cuz you can loose pressure some during racing and then your tires could be too flat for proper traction.

 

Yeah just make sure u check it regularly or else .....

 

when i ran my 14.0 flat runs i wasnt getting good traction at 24psi. then when i hit my 13.7 run i had decent traction and it was at 22 psi. so i figured a nice launch on 19 would just grab. hopefully i can cut something better than a 2.2 60'

 

where did u get ur 14" azenis at? i have been looking forever. i thought i was gonna have to get 15 inch wheels or something.
