Default question about transfering stereo (amps, subs, etc.) from my old Integra to new one

I just took my system (amps, subs, deck, etc) out of my "old" 1994 Integra (that I just sold) and will be putting it in my "new" 1994 Integra that I just bought. I am wondering if I can simply keep the gains on the amps the same, or if they will need to be readjusted? Even though it is the same car, I will have a high output alternator, larger capacitor, and secondary battery in my "new" Integra, not to mention added a few more subs and amps. So, can I keep the gains for front components and sub amps the same, or do they need to be set again?
Thanks much

Always safe to turn down all gains and retune, just incase you hit a gain control by accident without knowing

Only problem is that I've never actually set gains b4. I know plenty about the wiring and system setup, but Tweeter originally installed my system in my first Integra (big mistake), so I have no experience setting gains. Don't even really know what to listen for, for distortion is subs, etc. I'm good w/ everthing, else, just a little fuzzy w/ gains, lol

it will sound bad when u hear distortion. How i set my gains, is i turn everything down, then i turn my music up to as loud as i will ever want to play it. That is wehre i adjust my gains, so that i will never hear distortion.
