Default what strut tower bars and tie bars are good.

Does anyone have advice for me on what strut tower bars and rear tie bars as well as upper rear tie bars I should go for. i was thinking about neuspeef front upper strut bar with dc sports rear lower tie bars. Is this a good combo or is there somehting better I should be looking at?

If you haven't already, consider getting beefier sway bars first.

I disagree I have a cheap ebay front and it had a night and day difference in handling. Maybe not as big as a sway bar but it was still noticable.

Only good strut tower bar is a non-hindged bar. Neuspeed makes a good front one, but that would create more understeer for us FWD Prelude guys.

Neuspeed bar is the best one period. The idea that tsb's are useless is laughable. Guess I'll send back the roll cage too.

Hm. Sorry to bring back old threads- i've just been doing my searching......
anyway - can some of the great minds elaborate more on this. This is my first time hearing to not replace the front sway bar. I'm buying new bushings probably today or tomorrow - i was wondering if i should go ahead and get aftermarket sway bars...........

I replaced front and rear swaybars equally - maintains the same car dynamics as stock - just a whole lot stiffer..

don't need to replace the front sway bar, stock is thick enough, unless you're going with a thinner Fr. Sway.

this is of course, if you're interested in making a lude go from understeering nose heavy pushpig to less understeering nose heavy push piglet.

as far as tie bars, strut bars, pillar bars, and other various jungle gym reject bars--well, at least it's not MY money.

Yeah, i figured strut tower bars wouldn't do much at all; however, I figured that in conjunction with sway bars - maybe the could be of help.

Alright, so, i'll just replace the bushings in the front - and i'll look into a rear sway bar.
