Headers have been known to up your power by about 10-15 HP throughout the powerband. Why have a 500$ high flow exhaust system if your not going to have the smooth fowing performance headers to back it up!! These headers are ceramic coated to help disicpate heat, this helps by condensing heated exhaust gases faster than stock iron cast unit and thereby helping flow! hhmmm... well it seems they were good enough to get you thinking they were true dc. YES... they are Replicas.. they do not have a brand name on them, they are designed around the dc sports 4-2-1 header.

OBX, Matrix, Weapon R, Tenzo, Hiper, Ichebahn.... They all sell the same products ... different colors and different boxes .. but they all come from the same factory. I get my stuff without a name on it. If you want to go pay 50-100$+ over what i'm charging for the same thing because it has OBX written on the box. then go for it....

 

Do they use paper gasket inbetween the 2 pieces or are they O-ringed?

No more M/O's please unless they are international ... I just received a M/O today for a couple of Type-R keys .. but it is only negotiable in the US. I really don't feel like having to wait for the next time I make a trip to the US in order to get cash for this stuff..

just to let you guys know, i bought the header from him and i will be getting them soon. He is a very nice guy and he is also throwing in a free polish oil cap . with shipping it came out to be liek 150-160 which is very good. that is even cheaper than getting a used name brand header. I will let you guys know how it performs. He has took pic of the exact one i am getting and it looks great. I can't wait to put them on and get rid of my crappy 91 ls Exhuat manifold.

for what it's worth...header is header...if gases flow freely through it and exit out, I don't care if it's a mugen or dc or no brand...if teh same amount of gas flow through it without hindering, you'll get the same amount of hp. If you're willing to shell out the extra cash for brand name, it's up to you...this is a free world

I got the header 2 days ago and i just got the bad boy installed. Let me tell you the thing was a beauty, i could not believe i was able to get something with this kind of quality for 140. There were some bad flangs spots but overall it's great. My car runs alot amoother now and accelerats faster. It makse a weird sound around 3000-5000. I guess it just sounds like alot of air moving through pipes . Other then that the biggest diff i notice was that i was able to hit 6800 rpm very easily (top for my ls). It seems that the engine actrually wants to go higher and then it slows down then shifts.. i hope it's not hittin the fuel cut off point.

One last thing i notice was that for each gear my car can go faster. 1st gear cnan hit low 40's which i was never able to do.

Overall great purchase great item fast shipment.. only took 1 week although he stated 2-3 weeks. I'm a very happy customer.

The only reason i would think you would not want to get this is if you are going for show and want to be able to type a name and also if your state have strict emission because these are not carb approved.
