I am trying to figure out how to install an aux input on a 2004 Accord EX that came with satellite radio and an indash cd changer. i have learned that it is possible to install a Soundgate SNHOND03 for the aux input and retain the XM radio using a bus splitter from honda (p/n 08A31-0f1-000). the problem is that the setup causes a problem with the sound levels of the XM. there is supposedly a way to fix this problem by installing a switch or something like that on the bus splitter. does anybody have any information on this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

wow, that's crazy stuff, go to a nearby car audio shop and talk to an installer, i haven't tried anything like that in an 04 accord
