Default Anyone have problems with a B20/VTEC using a GSR head?

We put together a B20/VTEC on my car, and within 1000-1500 miles, it seems to have lost 2 quarts of oil, with no noticable leaks, smoke from the tail pipe or other indication of it going somewhere. It even had good compression across the board, 275-285 on all 4.

We broke it down and it seems that the intake manifold, where the valve cover is vented to with a PCV valve in line, is saturated in oil. However, the intake PORTS are pretty clean. Still odd that no noticable smoking occured, especially if it dumped 2 quarts in about that short an amount of time. I have no catch can right now, so whatever left the valve cover went directly to the intake manifold.

My GSR used to blow oil before i got the B20?VTEC, but the back bumper was ALWAYS filthy and you could SEE the smoke coming from the tailpipe. Now, the rear bumper is pretty clean, and no one, including myself, ever noticed smoke trails.

Anyway, anyon else have similar problems and/or ideas on what could have happened here? ANY help would be appreciated

-Brian, who's tired of losing oil.
