I was wondering if 2001 Accord V6 auto has infamous transmission issue just like Acura TL's 5spd auto tranny problem. If it has, does it get 7yr/100k miles extended warranty on the tranny like TL's get?

just curious...what problems are you exactley talking about...i have a 01' ex accord 4cycl. and was wondering if the problems also applied to this model as well... or is it just the v6 model...also if so, i assume the warranty is extended too...hmm...if your car is lowered will it void the warranty...i believe it will but just double checking...cuz i had a problem with my tranny...thought it was maybe the seal or the axle popped out a bit...but didn't really get to look over it...my wife's dad took it to honda dealer without me knowing and they fixed (said they replaced the tranny but not sure)...anyways...its came out to over $3000...mad cuz i could have done it myself and all i had to do was find another tranny...tried to asked him what exactley the problem was but he thinks i don't know anything about cars even though he asks me to help him change things on his car...so basically i feel like i got jipped cuz i don't know what the hell i paid for...can't compare #'s from the tranny cuz i don't know what the other #'s were and the enigine bay is still clean cuz i just have 50,000 miles on it and engine bay is still clean...thanks for any help and sorry if im whoring your thread or sumthing...
