GSR swap and car is not revving past 5 RPM
I just finished my GSR swap in an EK and it doesn't rev past about 5 RPM. It seems like VTEC it not kicking in or something. The Vtec pressure and Vtec are hooked up to my knowledge and I know for sure my Vtec was working b-4 I installed the motor.
any advice would be helpful??

Won't rev past 5rpm eh? So you can't even get it running then?

Guess you didn't catch my point. I don't know of any engine out there that will run on 5rpms. You SURE you don't mean 5,000rpms?

So then it sounds like the car is in limp home mode. Check engine light on? Have you checked for codes? What ECU are you running?

Yeh that's exactly what it fees like. I'm running obd2 GSR ecu.
Right now I don't have any of the O2 sensors hooked up and it's throwing code 22 which i think is ECT. And that is hooked up, so I dunno sup with that??

Well, that would make total sense then. 22 is the ECT, and without that, its going to be in limp home mode. That along with the fact that you have it oakie rigged up with no O2 sensors will ALSO make it run like **** and in limp home mode. It never fails to amaze me how some people hook thier **** up and then wonder "why doesn't it work right?".

Hey man this is my first swap, I didn't know that ECT can effect something like that. Guess I'll plug in the o2 sensors and see what happens.
