My power antenna doesnt go up or work at all even when the stereo is plugged in, ive tried several stereos so its not the stereo, and it worked for a split second when I was installing a deck after not working, but then it just stopped working, and hasnt been working since. I dont get any radio signal thru my deck either. What could be the problem? I have tried 3 different decks and its definately not the motor, etc on the antenna because it has worked once, but i have no clue why it started working and stopped again.

 

Get an s2k antenna

 

I think he means that the antenna isnt getting a signal from the radio for some reason, and so the antenna just isnt doing anything for amplifying the signal

 

On the multi connector on the back of the head unit, check the condition of the appropriate wire and connector that sends the trigger signal to the antenna's motor. They sometimes get gunked with grime and dust and won't conduct. Cleaning them will usually fix the problem...

the cable inside the antenna probably broke, fairly common. What worth it to fix IMO. I'm happy with my S2K antenna, but i don't suggest the cheaper $20-30 kits... get the full setup straight from honda (about $115). Much better quality and better signal strength.
