Did a serch, and it seems as if no one has ever found a answer to this problem. I step on the clutch and right before it's all the way to the floor "CLICK" you can even feel it on your foot. A friend has a 2001 ITR and his makes no noise what so ever, and for some reason it's smoother. How can I explain it? It takes less force to press the pedal to the floor. I wonder if this is related to my clicking problem. If you've solve this problem, or have an ideal on what could be causing it, please respond to this post. Thank you in advance.
dealer checked out mine 2 times, they eventually ended up replacing the master clutch cylinder, and shaving a piece down on the fork or something or other. then again your car is modded the hell out. my work was done under warranty. good luck.
I have the same problem and mine is a "stock" 2001 ! the dealer checked it twice and both times the "stupid" thing did'nt make a single sound while at the dealer !
Mine used to do that as well. It went away after I changed the fluid, but once in a while, I hear a click or two. It sounds almost like a spring from the clutch is catching or something but I dunno
