Default info needed...already did search...

So i have to get a few things in my car fixed, but i wanna fix the anything i can by myself...the guy at the shop said i need to replace a fuel filter...what is that?

isn't that self explanitory..? Well its basically a filter that FILTERS out dirty **** in ur gas.

That alone tells me that you dont know much about cars. A fuel filter is a FILTER for the FUEL. So your running clean fuel. I would get a local member and have them help you and buy a 6 pack or something. Either that or take it to the shop.

fuel filter....just like oil filter....BOTH filters out stuff in their own type of element. oil filters out bad stuff in oil...and fuel filter filters out bad stuff in fuel. hope this helps. 2 other guys said the same thing...so what im saying HAS to be true.

Wow.

Best thing you can do man i go to your local autoparts store and pick up a haynes or chiltons manual to get you started. Also you can hang around here and read some of the threads; you'd be surprised how much you can pick up.

if i was you, i'd go to AUTO-ZONE or PEP BOYS......
