like the topic says. I want to make it so it looks like my car is standing still but the background is all blury and fuzzy. Look at this pic.

 

 

Thats how the shot was taken, you can always Photoshop it too. Here's a couple I took at D1 a few months back, it's just about tracking the car.

 

You can do it a few ways. You want a camera that at least has Av (aperture priority) mode. Once you are able to controll the aperture you will need to set it low. On most prosumer digital camera you have the option of f2.0-8.0. The lower the number the more light is let through the lense the higher the less light. Setting it to a lower number decreases the DoF (depth of field) and there for anything not on the same plane as the subject you focus on will be out of focus and give you the blurred effect.

The other way is in a program like Photoshop..

 

yea then u focus on the object as its moving so the object will be clear and the background wont.

 

Photoshop: select background (car de-selected) and apply motion blur

I just noticed that the black AE86 Levin has an APC sticker on the top of its left fender...go figure.

I didnt know that APC hosted D1...sorry for not being informed. I see a car overwhelmed with kanji and Japanese tuners and an APC sticker seemed out of place. I didn't talk **** on it or anything. And yes, I am a smart ***...better than being a half-wit like you that can't even spit out enough proper english grammar to insult another. Go **** a sheep redneck.
