18's throw your gearing off, i.e. more surface to rotate.

18's with 215/35/18 rubber is the same diameter of stock so it wouldn't throw gearing off.

That being said if there is only 3 pounds difference I would say go with the 16's just because of the smaller rotating mass and more forgiving rubber cause it's got a higher profile

I suggest you replace the tires on the 16s first...get something cheap like kumhos...

16's and lower tire pressure to about 20....give your traction of a 18" and wont mess up gearing, and will also be lighter, cuz there is less air in it...

hondafiend 04 is a dumbass DON'T lower the air pressure to 20!! It will only encourage sidewall roll and will give the car insufficent grip in the corners and only the edges of the tires will grip the road instead of the whole tire would if it were fully inflated. Inflate your tires to recomended pressure and use some white shoe polish and put it on six or eight spots around the tire's edge and drive the course to see how much sidewall flex/rollover you are getting and adjust the pressure accordingly. And use the 16's with good tires.

to hondafiend 04 for giving fucked up advice

depending on the tires, the 16's will be better.
