I recently had the automatic tranny swaped out for a 4 speed tranny in my 91 dx hatch, is there any differences in the clutch disk between 88-91 civics? I just dont wanna buy the wrong disk, im not sure what year the donor hatch was, all i know its the it was a 88-91(4th gen)hatch.

 

do you have the 4-sp sittin in front of you?

why wouldnt you get atleast a dx (5spd???)

 

no. its been in the car for a couple of weeks already.

 

Yes the car works and it runs too...i just need to know if theres a diff between the 88-91 civic 4 speed trannys so i can but the correct clutch.

check part #'s from aftermarket companies.

call honda. ask them

when you take out that 4 speed to replace the clutch, throw the trans in the trash. that's my two cents.

I don't even know which 88-91's came with a 4 speed. anybody know?
