Interesting about the steering wheel...

Because I'm almost 100% sure that's a JDM EG non SRS steering wheel.

I thought the EF and EG used different size steering hubs?

spline count and shaft size are the same the distance from the dash is whats different
its quite common to use the eg hub in ef's to put the steering wheel closer to you

Like in my previous post..

That steering wheel is a 92-95 JDM Civic non-SRS steering wheel! I believe it's actually the SiR wheel.

They're really sweet...especially the leather wrapped ones.

How much closer to the driver are the EG wheels compared to the EF wheels?

Is there a noticeable gap at the steering column? I'm way interested in this!

Default that's my old project crx

The non-SRS steering wheel is supposedly from a 92-95 JDM Civic. I purchased it off ebay.

Just like this one.

It fits on the CRX but when unmodified, you can only tighten the bolt half a turn. So I took a dremel to the "stem" and cut it off so it was flush and now it bolts on properly. To make the horn work, I used the metal clip that was attached to the OEM CRX steering wheel. Took some time to get the horn to work right, for a little bit, I'd turn the wheel and the horn would honk. Works just fine now, and like you said, looks much better.

Also, the floormats are virtually one of a kind.........

I had coordinated a floormat deal with Roadworks Auto to produce OEM-like floormats about 6 years ago. Sent them a set of OEMs to duplicate, but they couldn't put the stripe in them. They managed to make a few sets with the CRX logo and "H" emblem before Honda Motors stopped them due to copyright infringement laws. This was the first set they had made.

These floormats are a little bigger in size, which is good since they cover up more floorspace, and they are also thicker.

Roadworks Auto still makes these floormats, but without the OEM logos. They don't advertise it on their website, but they still make them if you ask.

This is awesome! How does the steering wheel fit against the stock column? Does it have the clearance problem that the Prelude steering wheel has? Or is there a noticeable gap between the steering wheel and steering column cover?
