Heres the thing, I have a 91 Si Hatch with a blown ZC taken out of it, Got the hasport efb2 mounts, axels, shifty link, all the wiring and a 2nd gen b16 with a hydro tranny, mechanic says hydros not gonna work in my car or its gonna cost billlls to get it in, so im askin if someone can 1) Explain to me what else i need to fit a hydraulic tranny in a 91 hatchback, and why it won't with everything I have or 2) Someone please tell me they either have one to sell me or know where I can order one from, i got Billlllllls to throw. (CABLE TRANNY)
Search "Hasport Hydraulic" or something like that...
Here's your answer in short.
Hasport makes a mount kit to where you can use a Hydraulic Transmission with the EF chassis on your B-series. It's expensive but you can probably do it for the cheapest alternative if you already have the hydraulic tranny
Otherwise
1) Cheapest way to go is get a 90-93 Acura Integra Cable Tranny, they aren't nearly as nice, but they are cheaper.
2) But getting a JDM J1 or YS1 tranny would be the best next to Hydro Tranny.

If you have the hasport EFB2 kit, the hydro tranny should go in without any major problems. Just explain to the mechanic that you have a mounting kit for the hydro tranny and everything will work out. Seems to me he just wants your money. I would suggest calling up some friends and dropping in the 2nd gen b16 yourself. Good luck
ya i agree. check out the hasport site. http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mounts.htm
according to that site you have the correct mount kit.
