Default speed "alarm"

Hi,
I've recently fix my VSS, the speedometer didn' t work since I bought the car.
I just notice that at about 120 km/h there' s some kind of "alarm", little bip sound to tell you that you' ve reach that speed. How do you remove that "alarm" ?

I know in Initial D, Takumi's AR86 would have a chime that dinged when he went over a certain speed.......that's all I know! :D

start unplugging little boxes under your dash (not relays, they are clearly marked) until you get it to go away...

or they might be tied into the headlight or ignition key chimes, so in that case u need a quick snip of the right wire to get rid if it.

ps: sounds great "I live in Tahiti, here most ludes are Prelude S"

bastard.

Doesn' t sound that great,
I said Prelude S, not Type S I saw a H23 once at the junkyard, but all lude owners I know have a F22A2, don' t know if there are other Si.
What little boxes under the dash are you talking about ?

LMAO - using common sense! Try to distinguish the sound, electronic or a chime. Then work from there. Does it sound like headlights or ignition?

have a friend snoop around for it while its beeping. when you find it just rip the ****** thing out.

if its under the dash then just pull the dash and find it. then commense to ripping it out.

Well since he does drive a FWD car, I would assume that it does have some road system that is reliable enough without the necessity of using AWD.

lol,
yep there are cars, and roads,
it' s not like we live in the bush
Sun everday, life' s cool here even it' s a little expensive.
But when you live in a big country, to come in my country will be great but only for holidays, it' ll get boring as there are not a lot to do like in your country.
But if you like to live in a calm place or like to go to the beach then you' ll enjoy it :T
The problem here with cars is to get parts, you got to order them yourself or get them order for you by a local shop, as all parts are moslty for european cars. Not even talking about Honda, you won' t believe it if you see the prices, for exemple, a friend of mine had a problem with his civic termal switch, 110$ LOL & they don' t even have it available in stock, like most of the other parts...

Thats just the speed warning. It comes on all JDM cars. Apparently your market gets real JDM cars so that is why it makes the noise. It is quite annoying I remember flying down the highways of Japan in a freind's Silvia and the insecent beeping is pretty stupid. I'm just surprised there's enough road in Tahiti to get up to that speed. LOL!

So JDM ludes make that noise too
I know our Honda car come and are made in Japan but for foreign market,
they are like US ludes, do not come with the 1 piece headlights.
I' ve check again tonight and it really bip from 120 km/h.
It' s not too loud so just have to put the music louder
looks like it comes from the speedometer, don' t want to remove it, I' ve already done that but I' m too lazy to do it again right now.
