LS Vtec Q's
Being new to the world of honda (been reading anything and everything I can in these forums), one of my most anticipated mods is the engine swap. Recently I had someone turn me onto the idea of the LS block mated with a b16 or GSR head to give it vtec. Some of my questions are:
- Does the head bolt directly onto the block (don't wanna do any fabricating)
-Do I need to go the aftermarket internals route to make it reliable (an extra 5 hp and reliable aren't the same thing
)
-How much should I expect to pay for a full b18b swap?
-Is there any other swap I could use besides the b18b swap that would work just as easily.
Sorry for my noobiness, and I did search, but I keep getting mixed responses... first this then that, then this again, and then I hear that it's all myths.... too much for my head to take while I'm on summer break. Props to whoever can clear this up a bit for me.

Search for lsvtec and youll find a huge amount of information, and a long *** thread that goes over pretty much everything you need to know. Also go to c-speedracing.com and in the how to section is a great lsvtec write up with pictures and everything.
i have searched lsvtec and everything i find contradicts itself in another thread.... im just lookin for some straight-forward answeres to the questions above.
